Going Green (kind of)

by - February 02, 2018

Look at that sky! We’ve had such a clear, dry January that it doesn’t even feel like winter. It certainly makes picture taking easier. Now that the holiday season is over, and I am back to real life, I’m perfectly content with this pseudo-spring. I prefer to enjoy snow when I can spend all day inside by the fire with a cozy blanket and a book (or some good conversation).

I took these photos before I finished reading Wear No Evil, before I started my 10x10 challenge, and before it snowed! It was green (at least in color!), so I felt it was still appropriate to post :) However, after I did the assessment in the book I noticed that I had a lot of clothes made out of synthetic materials, including this cardigan and dress. Nonetheless, in honor of #30wears and using what I already own...

Just a little mandatory twirling. (The more full the skirt, the more fun to be had twirling. I'd give this dress a six out of ten.)

Stay amiable!

Cardigan and Dress: Downeast Outfitters, Shoes: ASOS, Belt: Charlotte Russe, Earrings: unique piece bought at a farmer’s market in D.C.
